Insurance Claims Process

Crown Exteriors LLC will work with your insurance company – Whatever it will take to get your roof repaired.  In many cases, where damage is severe, an insurance claim may be necessary.  One of our trained project managers will inspect your entire property for any damage that may have been sustained.  From you roof, siding, gutters, mail box, barbeque pit to window screens, pool covers, patio furniture and awnings – anything that may have been affected, we will document.  Your project manager will be present for your adjuster meeting to insure that all damage is accounted for. We will file and complete all necessary paperwork with your insurance company to collect all of the funds for your project.

STEP 1: Roof Inspection

One of our trained project managers will complete a free roof inspection. They will recommend whether to file a claim for full replacement or repair.

STEP 2: File a Claim

If a claim is filed with your insurance company, an appointment will be set by the insurance adjuster. Notify your project manager and they will be present to represent you and ensure all damage is accounted for.

STEP 3: Receive Estimate/Loss Statement

The insurance adjuster will send you an estimate to complete necessary replacement or repairs. Your project manager will review the paperwork to confirm all items are included. If all work is covered, your project manager will prepare the agreement according to the estimate provided by your insurance company.

STEP 4: Agreement

Complete all details of the project including materials, color choices, etc. to include on the contract. After the contract is signed an install date will be set.

STEP 5: Install & Notification

Project install and completion. Once you are satisfied, Crown Exteriors will send in the final invoice to your insurance company and notify them of project completion (Initial payment is due at this time).

STEP 6: Depreciation Release

Your insurance company will confirm all work is complete, in return, they will release to you the recoverable depreciation and any supplements. We will then send you the final invoice.

STEP 7: Final Payment

Once you receive the recoverable depreciation and supplement check, final payment is due at this time.
